[Spoilers for Exogenesis]
Earthforce apparently has no rules against fraternization between superior officers and their subordinates. I think this is unwise.
Exogenesis isn’t the worst episode of season three, but it may be the least interesting. I think that the most important thing that it does is improve Marcus’ ties to our established characters, especially in the nice little double-act that develops between Marcus and Franklin. The main story about the Vindrizi thematically ties back to G’Kar’s “No-one here is exactly what he appears” in S1.
And you asked for more “Clarence” and you asked for the conspiracy against Clark actually to do something other than sit around having meetings. Two birds, one stone. Although, personally, I think endless meetings that never result in a decision are one of the most realistic aspects of Babylon 5.
